Before you start
What does protection include?
Security software goes on a computer you choose, after your plan starts and you add the computer in the app. iFixediT prepares the setup, then you install from a link in the app. Our team keeps an eye on its health, your updates and your disk space, reviews security alerts during support hours, and you hear about it when something looks wrong. No security product stops every threat, and this is not a backup.
How do fixes work, and do I have to approve them?
Fixie finds the problem and, for common fixes, runs the fix on your computer when you tap Allow. Today that means clearing the network cache (flush DNS), getting a new network address and restarting the computer. Nothing changes without your OK. Autopilot is optional and off until you turn it on for a computer: Fixie tells you first, fixes small, safe things on its own 15 minutes later unless you cancel, then tells you it is done. Anything involving files, accounts or security settings always goes to a person.
Does it work on Mac?
Protection and people cover Mac today, and Fixie walks you through each fix. Fixes that run for you start on Windows, so on a Mac you get protection and help rather than fixes done for you. The Mac app, for Apple silicon Macs, is at ifixedit.io/download.
What can Fixie help with?
Everyday problems with computers, phones, printers, wifi, email, accounts and apps. You describe it in plain words and Fixie walks you through the fix one step at a time.
What if Fixie can't fix it?
The same ticket moves on to a remote support agent, a person who sees what you already tried, so you never start over. On a paid plan, priority sessions put you first in line. If it needs hands, on-site technician visits are coming soon to your area.
Will the agent or technician see my phone number or email?
No. Chat, calls and email all go through iFixediT, and we do not show your personal phone number or email to the person helping you.
Is it free to start?
Yes. The Community plan is free, gives you help through chat with 10 AI chats a month, and needs no credit card. Protection and fixes start with a paid plan. On-site visits are coming soon. They will start at $99, with the price shown before you pay.
